TERMS OF SERVICE

By using the SMLT mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. SMLT is operated by SMLT ("we", "us", "our") based in Northern Minnesota.

SMLT is a food truck discovery platform that helps consumers find local food trucks and helps truck owners connect with their audience. The Service includes:

• A real-time map showing food truck locations
• Truck profiles with menus, schedules, and descriptions
• Follow and notification features for schedule alerts
• Review and photo submission features
• Owner tools for messaging followers and managing profiles

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One account per person. Do not create accounts for others without their permission.

You may submit reviews, photos, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:

• Grant SMLT a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content within the Service.
• Confirm that you own or have the right to share the content.
• Agree that photos are subject to admin review before being displayed publicly.
• Understand that reviews (thumbs up/down and star ratings) are visible to other users and to truck owners in aggregate form.

Content Rules

Do not submit content that is:

• False, misleading, or defamatory
• Obscene, offensive, or harassing
• Infringing on intellectual property rights
• Spam or commercial solicitation
• Photos of people without their consent

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules.

Truck owners may claim their profile through our verification process. By claiming a profile, you:

• Confirm that you are the authorized owner or operator of the food truck.
• Agree to provide accurate menu, schedule, and location information.
• Understand that messaging followers is subject to our pricing tiers (free templates, paid custom messages, premium SMS).
• Accept responsibility for the content of messages sent to your followers.

Certain features for truck owners require payment (custom messaging, SMS alerts, promoted listings). Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All sales are final unless otherwise stated.

We collect usage data to improve the Service and provide analytics to truck owners. See our Privacy Policy for details. Key points:

• We track interactions (views, taps, searches) to understand demand and improve recommendations.
• Truck owners receive anonymized, aggregated analytics only. They cannot see individual user identities.
• We may use anonymized data to generate market insights about food truck demand in different areas.

The Service uses your device location (with permission) to show nearby trucks and calculate distances. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time. Some features may be limited without location access.

By enabling notifications, you consent to receive push notifications, emails, and/or SMS messages about:

• Schedule changes from trucks you follow
• Messages from truck owners
• System announcements and new features

You can manage notification preferences in Settings at any time. Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of truck locations, schedules, or menu information (this data is provided by truck owners and may change without notice).
• The quality, safety, or legality of food served by trucks listed on the platform.
• Continuous, uninterrupted access to the Service.

SMLT is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (if any). We are not responsible for the actions, products, or services of food truck operators listed on the platform.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time in Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of St. Louis County, Minnesota.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
